12 players injured, pickup crashed

Balrampur. A painful road accident happened with football players in Balrampur today. About 20 players were going from Vishalpur to Mitgai in a pickup to play football. Meanwhile, the pickup vehicle overturned while taking side from a truck near Chaki Lava Mode in Vijaynagar Outpost area. More than 12 players were badly injured in this accident and many players fainted.

After getting information about the incident, Vijaynagar Outpost Police reached the spot and immediately took the injured to the hospital. All the injured were admitted to Ramanujganj Community Health Center, where some players were referred to the district hospital as their condition was critical. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
