6 Dead In Bangladesh After 5 7 Magnitude Earthquake

It is known that a major earthquake has shaken neighboring Bangladesh. The earthquake struck at 10 am on Friday with a magnitude of 5.7. Local media reported that six people have lost their lives in Dhaka so far due to this earthquake. Three died when a wall collapsed and three died when a building roof collapsed.
An earthquake was recorded in Dhaka at 10:08 am on Friday. The US Geological Survey said that the earthquake was registered as 5.5 on the Richter scale. It said that the epicenter of the earthquake was identified in Narsingdi, which is 50 km away from Dhaka. It was revealed that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km. The earthquake interrupted the ongoing Test match between Bangladesh and Ireland in Dhaka. The match was stopped for a few minutes due to the tremors. It was then resumed.
On the other hand, the earthquake also shook India due to these tremors. Tremors were recorded in North India including Kolkata. The earthquake in Kolkata lasted for a few seconds at 10:10 am. Tremors were felt in many parts of Bengal including Cooch Behar, Dakshin, and Uttar Dinajpur. The earthquake also shook cities like Guwahati, Agartala, and Shillong. People were in a panic due to these earthquakes. They ran out of their homes in a hurry. Videos related to this have now gone viral on social media.
