25 innovators will get to showcase unique innovations at Impulse 3.0

Hyderabad played host to Impulse 3.0, a dynamic social entrepreneurship summit that brought together 25 innovators, all geared towards fostering startup initiatives. The event, organized by the Bala Vikasa Centre for Social and Responsible Business in collaboration with the Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC), drew over 1,000 participants from diverse backgrounds within the social entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The summit’s third session featured a rich array of activities, ranging from fireside chats with industry leaders to panel discussions led by social startup entrepreneurs addressing trending topics such as impact investing and youth entrepreneurship. Interactive workshops were also held, focusing on the development of sustainable social ventures.

Among the innovators, M Gopal Singh, hailing from Ranngareddy and the owner of Rishraj Enterprises, introduced a groundbreaking mechanical control turn-on/off valve system designed to contribute to water conservation. Singh emphasized how the device seamlessly integrates with existing valves, offering an efficient solution for precise water distribution in farmlands. The technology not only optimizes power supply for pumping but also incorporates planned irrigation scheduling, reducing water consumption and creating employment opportunities.

Thotakura Praveen Yadav, a resident of Choutuppal, showcased his innovation—an ingenious remote-controlled magic spray pump designed for enhanced worker safety. This solar-powered pump, remotely controlled via a mobile app, comes equipped with a Wi-Fi-connected CCTV camera, adding an extra layer of convenience and safety to the spray pump system.

Rajitha, a physics teacher at Government High School, Ramayapally Medak, shared her creation—a multi-purpose walking device tailored for disabled individuals. Observing the struggles of many disabled people, she developed a walking stick with a unique seating aid featuring three foldable sticks, enabling handicapped individuals to comfortably sit and work while in motion. Rajitha’s innovation achieved a 100% success rate, earning her the Rural Innovator Award from TSIC and recognition at the Telangana Assistive Technology Exhibition organized by TSIC and T-HUB.
