Rape of minor girl in police station transit camp

Rudrapur. A case of rape of a minor girl has come to light in the police station transit area. After protests from Hindu organizations, the police finally registered a case against the accused youth on the basis of the complaint and started searching for him.

A person resident of Shiv Nagar of Thana Transit Camp told that his 14-year-old minor daughter was lured by Shoaib, resident of Paharganj Rudrapur and tried to rape her several times. On January 12, the victim’s mother lodged a police report and demanded action. At the same time, Hindu organizations demonstrated at the police station transit camp and raised the issue of immediate action against the accused.
