Andhra assembly polls: Pawan Kalyan says- Jana Sena will contest elections on 2 seats
Amaravati: After ally Telugu Desam announced candidates for two assembly seats, Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan said his party will contest from Rajolu and Rajanagaram constituencies. Accepting political pressure, Pawan informed about his party’s decision to contest elections on two seats.
The actor-turned-politician said, “Like Chandrababu, I too am under pressure. That is why it has been announced that Jana Sena will contest elections in two constituencies.” He said the challenging political scenario prompted this strategic move.
However, stressing on unity within the alliance, Pawan said, “Regardless of what happens between the alliance, both the parties are going to the elections together”, stressing the commitment of both Jana Sena and TDP to fight the upcoming elections together. Confirming. He said, “Today on the 75th Republic Day, I am happy to make this announcement.” Elections are to be held in Andhra Pradesh in a few months along with the Lok Sabha elections this year.
