Hyderabad: UPSC aspirant committed suicide by jumping from a hotel in Ayyappa Society, Madhapur
Hyderabad: A UPSC aspirant committed suicide in Ayyappa Society area of Madhapur on Sunday night. The victim, identified as Sai (29), a resident of Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh, committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of a hotel in Ayyappa Society. The youth had recently appeared in the civil preliminary examination and was preparing for the main examination. According to the police, Sai was staying in the hotel with his four friends.
They were not aware of the incident as Sai had been missing for some time. “He went missing when they (friends) were in the room. Later, they heard a loud noise and went to investigate, he was found dead on the ground,” police said. Madhapur police have registered a case and started investigation. The reasons for the suicide are being investigated, officials said. The body was taken to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem.
