Chandigarh: Case of fraud registered against immigration agents

Chandigarh: Police have registered a case of cheating against three immigration consultants for duping people in the name of sending them abroad. In one case, complainant Manish from Delhi had alleged that Harpal Singh, who runs an office in Sector 8, had duped him of Rs 1.14 lakh.

Another case has been registered against Ravinder Singh Brar on the complaint of Gursahib Singh of Moga, who allegedly duped him and others of Rs 90 lakh. Rahul Singla of Mani Majra has also been booked on the complaint of a woman who alleged that he duped her of Rs 1.25 lakh, police said. Investigation has been started in all the three cases.
