Prime Minister Housing Scheme made Shobha Nag and Kaushalya’s dream of a permanent house come true

raipur news. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in June 2015 to build and provide permanent houses to improve the living standards of the poor. There is a provision to provide basic amenities like toilet, electricity, drinking water, clean fuel (LPG) etc. in these houses. When people actively participate in the construction of their houses and get these facilities, they form a strong bond with their homes and feel emotionally attached to it. The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has raised a new hope for many homeless families across the country. The permanent houses being provided to homeless families through this scheme have not only raised the standard of living of the people, but are also providing them a safe and permanent residence.

As per the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, efforts are being made to extend its benefits to as many eligible people as possible in Chhattisgarh. After Sai became the Chief Minister, the first thing the cabinet did was to approve 18 lakh houses in the state under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the state government is working with full commitment to implement the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), the dream of building a permanent house of Mrs. Shobha Nag, a resident of Jagdalpur Ward 30, has come true. Mrs. Shobha Nag expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai for this scheme and said that now her family will be able to live in a safe and comfortable permanent house. Mrs. Nag told that she works as a tiffin distributor for livelihood, in which she earns about four thousand rupees per month. Due to low income, she was unable to build a permanent house. She had to face difficulties in a kutcha house, and was very worried about the future of her children. I got the opportunity to get the benefit of the scheme under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban and now I have my own home.

The life of Kaushalya Ram, a resident of Ambikapur Municipal Corporation area of ​​​​Surguja district, was never easy. Her husband late. Birju Ram died twenty years ago, when they had five small children. At that time, Kaushalya had no income to support herself and her children. She raised her family by working as a labourer. Her income was not enough to give a good life to her children. Her house was kutcha, water used to drip from the roof during the rainy season. Kaushalya had never thought that she would also have her own permanent house. But Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana filled her life with happiness. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Kaushalya got financial assistance to build her own permanent house, with which she built her permanent house. She has thanked Prime Minister Shri Modi and Chief Minister Shri Sai very much for making her dream of a permanent house come true.
