Wash the vagina thoroughly with water at least twice a day. This will help in removing all kinds of harmful germs and keeping your vagina clean. Use natural methods to clean the vagina. Avoid using any kind of soap. Use panty liners to absorb extra flow and maintain better hygiene.

Wear clean and washed undergarments daily and if you feel that your panty has become wet for any reason, change it immediately. Dirty undergarments smell very bad during periods and also put you at risk of infection. Use organic panty liners to absorb the discharge in the initial days. Also, use only panties made of cotton or any other soft cloth.
Dispose of sanitary pads properly
For clean periods, it is also important that you dispose of sanitary pads and tampons properly. Do not flush them as they can clog sewage pipes and drains. To prevent the spread of harmful bacteria, wrap them properly in news paper and put them in the dustbin. After this, clean the hands with the help of handwash. Wash your hands thoroughly with liquid soap before and after changing sanitary pads. Whenever you touch your private part, your hands should be clean. If you are out of the house or traveling, then keep a good hand sanitizer with you to clean your hands.

It is very important to have a balanced and nutritious diet during your periods. During this and anyway throughout the day, keep yourself hydrated by drinking at least 4 to 6 liters of water. With this you will not feel any kind of nervousness and you will feel relaxed.
