Uttar Pradesh: An out-of-control four-wheeler collided with a street vendor’s cart, injuring the vendor; the driver fled the scene.
Uttar Pradesh: A fatal mishap occurred in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, were a speeding car rammed into a street cart vendor, leaving him seriously injured. According to the footage that has been going viral on social media, the Wagon R car was out of control. CCTV footage shows, accident occurred on 18, January, 2026 at around 1:51 pm.
In footage, vendor is seen walking on road while pushing his cart. Suddenly Wagon R car comes in full speed and flung man in air and he lands 20 meters away. Following the incident car left the scene leaving the victim seriously injured. He was rushed to Health Centre for treatment. In separate accident, a speeding truck crashed into two cars waiting at a toll plazain Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. This incident occurred Saturday, January 17, 2026 at around 2:00 pm at Semri Toll Plaza on the Kanpur Highway under the jurisdiction of Moth police station. In this accident several passengers and employee were injured. Footage shows, two cars were waiting at toll plaza for FASTag scanner. Since the scanner was not working toll employee stepped forward to manually scan the tag on one of the vehicles. Meanwhile, a high-speed truck approached from behind and slammed into both stationary cars. The accident so sudden that toll employee had no time to move and flung him into a car’s bonnet.
