Action taken on driving without seat belt, challan of 232 drivers
Dhamtari. It has been directed by Superintendent of Police Prashant Thakur to reduce road accidents happening in the city and promote road safety along with creating awareness about traffic rules among drivers and people. On instructions, under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Manishankar Chandra, traffic in-charge Satyakala Ramteke’s traffic stop, by running a special campaign, action was taken against 232 drivers who did not follow the traffic rules. Also, by telling about the advantages and disadvantages of wearing seat belts, the drivers who drive without seat belts were told that wearing seat belts will avoid falling out of the vehicle, essential parts of the body will remain safe and airbags installed in the vehicle in case of an accident. Will open and if the accident happens due to not wearing the seat belt, it is being told about not getting the insurance, as well as action is being taken. Along with this, the drivers are being told to follow the traffic rules at the square intersections. Action has been taken against those who chant wrong side signals, those who park vehicles at no parking, vehicles carrying passengers in Malayan, this action will continue continuously.
