ED raids premises linked to Sujay Bhadra in Bengal school recruitment case
Kolkata (IANS). Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials on Monday raided various places linked to Sujay Krishna Bhadra, the main accused in the multi-crore school recruitment case in West Bengal.
Besides the office, the investigating officers are conducting raids at the residential flats of Bhadra and his son-in-law in South Kolkata.
A raid and search operation is being conducted at an office in Bishnupur-II block of South 24 Parganas district, which is linked to Bhadra.
Recently, the ED had filed a chargesheet in a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court in Kolkata, in which the ED had claimed that Bhadra used the bank accounts of his daughter and son-in-law to launder the proceeds. Did it for

Bank accounts in the name of Bhadra’s daughter Paramita Chattopadhyay have also come under the scanner of the central agency in this case.
The raids conducted at four places on Monday are related to collecting more concrete evidence, sources said.
The raid and search operation is taking place at a time when Bhadra is already hospitalized and undergoing treatment.
A source in the know of the matter said that the investigating officers have already unearthed several forged paper documents related to bogus business deals in companies having links with Bhadra.
An ED charge sheet claimed that Bhadra, with the help of a reputed city-based chartered accountant, inflated the share price of a particular company from Rs 10 per share to Rs 440 per share.
