Fake candidate arrested in CET exam, police took action

Hansi (Haryana): One Munna Bhai, who was appearing for Group D (CET) examination in place of another in SD Girls Senior Secondary School, Hansi, has been arrested by the police. On the complaint of the Principal of SD Girls Senior Secondary School, the police have registered a case against the accused, taken him into custody and started interrogation. The arrested Munna Bhai has been identified as Vikas of Rajli village of Hisar district. Vikas was appearing for the exam in place of his friend Pramod, resident of Sanchla village of Fatehabad. Police station in-charge Udaybhan Godara said that he had received information from Panchkula NTA headquarters.

The biometric and photo on the Aadhaar card of a candidate named Pramod, who was appearing in the examination in room number 6 of SD Girls Senior Secondary School, is not matching. On the orders received from NTA Panchkula, they immediately reached SD Girls Senior Secondary School and detained the candidate named by NTA and interrogated him. He told that he is a resident of Rajali village and is currently working on the post of Group D in the Irrigation Department. And he came to take the exam in place of his friend. The police is interrogating the arrested accused whether he took the exam by taking money from Pramod or any other gang. The search for candidate Pramod has started. Udaybhan Godara told that the whole truth will be revealed only after interrogating the real candidate Pramod.
