Glamorous Zeenat Aman is absolutely ‘Desi’, loves ‘Khichdi’ very much
Mumbai (IANS) | Veteran actress Zeenat Aman says she is completely ‘desi’ and khichdi is her ‘favourite meal’. Zeenat shared an old picture of herself in salwar kameez on Instagram. She has applied vermilion on her forehead and completed her look with a red big bindi.
The actress wrote in the caption: Clothes are not all that make a woman. You may associate me with ‘western glam’ but I am equally desi.
And more than that, nothing speaks to me more than my diet, he said. It doesn’t matter where in the world I am traveling, within two days I miss home food and go out in search of an Indian restaurant.
Dal Chawal is my staple food, but Khichdi is my favorite food. Papad and pickle are perfect for lunch. Dakshinayan dosa is my favorite dish. I can never say no to Kaju Katli. I am happiest during the mango season. I always have jars of namkeen in my bedroom.
