Odisha Deputy Speaker Rajanikant Singh resigns

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) member and Deputy Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly Rajanikant Singh has resigned from his position on Wednesday.Angul MLA Rajanikant Singh resigned from the post of Deputy Speaker. There is a lot of talk about getting a big responsibility in BDJ for the upcoming elections.

Rajankanth Singh has been a four-time MLA, said reliable reports. Since 2004, Rajinikanth has been winning consecutive assembly seats.

He has been working as the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly since June 2019. The winter session of the Assembly is going to start from next month. Before that, the resignation of the deputy speaker points at something big. It is to be seen who will be the next Deputy Speaker from BJD.
