Durg SP held meeting with paramilitary force

Durg. Senior Superintendent of Police Ram Gopal Garg held a meeting in the auditorium of Police Control Room Sector 6 Bhilai regarding the upcoming assembly elections.

CRPF Commandant TM Pete, Sunil Rahi, CRPF Saurav Kumar, BSF Commandant P. Jadu, Devendra, Himada, Rajesh Singh, Tejpal, MS Saini and officers of SSB, RPF, CGSAP, Additional Superintendent of Police from Durg Police were present in the meeting. Abhishek Jha, Additional Superintendent of Police Rural Ananth Kumar and all gazetted officers were present, various points were discussed in the meeting in view of the upcoming elections and festive season.

In order to conduct free and fair elections by discussing the guidelines issued by the Honorable Election Commission and to give a feeling of peaceful environment to the common citizens, fix points, blockades, flag marches, foot patrolling, to instill fear of law among anti-social elements. Patrolling, security of sensitive polling stations etc. were discussed.
