Action will be taken against assistant engineer and revenue inspector

Raipur/Abhanpur: The second phase of voting took place in the state today. Regarding the elections, the Assistant Engineer and Revenue Inspector posted in the Municipality at Gobra Navapara of Abhanpur were appointed as Nodal Officer and Assistant Nodal Officer. But both the officers were seen openly violating the model code of conduct.

On one hand, all the officers and employees of the entire state including the city are engaged in peaceful voting. In view of the elections, Assistant Engineer Anup Soni posted in Gobra Navapara Municipality was appointed Nodal Officer and Revenue Inspector Nikhil Chandrakar was appointed Assistant Nodal Officer. But both the officers were seen missing from their duty on the election day i.e. 17th November. Both the officers were resting at home, due to which there was chaos in various polling stations of the city.
