Devotees broke the door of Dhableshwar temple
Cuttack: Devotees reportedly broke the door of the famous Dhabaleswar Temple in Cuttack’s Athagarh, which was locked by servitors following an arbitrary strike on Friday.
Like every year, hundreds of devotees devotees throng to the temple since morning to witness ‘Badasinghar Besha’on the ausipiciuos occasion of ‘Bada Osa’ and take blessings of the Lord Shiva today.
However, they found the door closed early on Saturday morning and after waiting for some time they grew inpatient and broke open the door to gain entry into the temple for the darshan of the Lord by themselves.
A spat between the servitors and the district administration had made the servitors lock up the temple since yesterday morning. With no headway after several rounds of talks with the administration, the servitors kept the door closed even on Bada Osha today. So, the devotees broke the doors.
For Bada Osa, Baba Dhabaleshwar will be served with gajavog on Trayodashi and Chaturdashi.
The administration has made extensive arrangements for a peaceful and safe darshan of Lord. A police force, ODRAF at the river ghats, fire brigade, medical teams have been deployed to maintain law and order.
