Copper worth lakhs stolen from scrap shop, 2 vicious thieves arrested
Raipur : Applicant Devdutt Gupta lodged a report in Tikrapara police station that he lives in Siddharth Chowk, Tikrapara and runs a scrap shop in the name of Om Sainath Traders in Satnam Chowk. The applicant had closed his junk shop at around 9.30 pm, locked the shutters and gone to his home. At around 07.30 in the morning, after opening the lock of the shop, he went inside and saw that the back door of his shop was broken and the goods of the shop were scattered. When the goods kept in the shop were examined by the applicant, it was found that there was copper, old brass items kept in the shop, a silver bracelet of one piece kept in a bag and no cash.
An unknown thief had entered inside the applicant’s shop by breaking the back door and stole the said Mashrooka and ran away. On which crime number 647/23 457, 380, 34 Bhadvi has been registered against unknown accused in Tikrapara police station. The crime of was registered. Under the direction of senior officers, the team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Tikrapara police station were continuously interrogating the applicant and nearby people regarding the incident and continuously locating the unknown accused involved in the case. Informers were also deployed to trace the accused. Meanwhile, the team members caught the accused Bittu Dhurve and Vansh Uike alias Monu, involved in the incident and interrogated them strictly in connection with the incident and told them that they had committed the said incident of theft. On which both the accused were arrested and action was taken against the accused by seizing 10 kg of stolen copper, 01 silver bracelet and 01 piece of iron crowbar used in the incident.

- Vansh Uike alias Monu, father Moolchand Uike, age 19 years, resident of Gurmukh Singh Nagar, Pachpedi Naka, New Rajendra Nagar, Raipur.
