Actor Vijay in Tirunelveli to provide relief material to flood affected people

Chennai: Actor Vijay landed at Thoothukudi airport on Saturday to distribute relief material among the flood affected people in Tirunelveli through his welfare organization Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam (TVMI).

The actor arrived in the southern district today in a private flight.

The event is taking place at Madha Maligai in KTC Nagar, Tirunelveli. He met the flood affected people and discussed their plight after the flood.

Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Kanniyakumari and Tenkasi faced unprecedented rainfall this December as there were several reports of dam breaches. Due to extreme floods, there was loss of life, property and livelihood in these districts.
