Tamil is India’s pride, says Modi

Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0, an initiative celebrating the traditional and civilizational ties between Tamil Nadu and Kashi, is set to begin on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the people of Kashi are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their brothers and sisters from Tamil Nadu.

Kashi Tamil Sangamam is a special initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In his monthly ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address, Modi said that Kashi-Tamil Sangamam has become an important platform for all those connected to the Tamil language.
It aims to strengthen the cultural ties between Tamil Nadu and Kashi. Urging people to participate in the event and get a chance to learn Tamil, Modi said, “The theme of this year’s Kashi-Tamil Sangamam is very interesting: Learn Tamil – Tamil Karkalam.”
