Asha Bhosle recorded a song at the age of 89
Mumbai (IANS). Legendary singer Asha Bhosle, at the age of 89, lent her voice to the song ‘Zindagi tu chup hai kahan’ for the film ‘Hari Om’. The film stars Anshuman Jha and Raghubir Yadav.
Harish Vyas’s film has been shot in Varanasi. The film is a father (Hari) – son (Om) story that explores the generational gap through a drama comedy.
It is one of the three love stories of Harish Vyas. Starting with ‘English Mein Kehte Hain’, the LGBTQ plus love story goes through ‘Hum Bhi Akele-Tum Bhi Akele’ and then ends with ‘Hari-Om’ on the generational gap between a father and son.
Anshuman said, “It’s amazing to meet Asha ji. So grateful that she has sung ‘Zindagi tu chuppi hai kahan’ in her unique style. She also loved the trailer of Lakdabagga and told me that she was in 1971 with Bruce Lee.” Which made the meeting even more special. I asked him how he was and they shared everything.”
Vyas said, “Asha Tai saw some glimpses of the film, she liked it and so I called Anshuman to the studio, who wanted to seek her blessings, which in English says ‘Aur Hum Bhi Akele, Tum Bhi Akele’ ‘ collaborating with the actor for the third consecutive film.”
