BENGALURU: After January 31, 35 thousand devotees from Karnataka will come to Ayodhya
Bengaluru: Over 35,000 devotees of Lord Ram from Karnataka will visit Ayodhya from January 31 to March 25. BJP state president BY Vijayendra said that 25 special trains have been arranged to facilitate the journey. Devotees are taking care of their expenses for the six-day trip to Ayodhya, he said.
Talking to the media, the BJP leader said that the devotees going to Ayodhya will be given an identity card with QR code. He said that with the commencement of special trains from various places in the state, arrangements have been made to provide food and accommodation to the devotees in Ayodhya and a Kannada helpline will also be made available. He said that 1,500 devotees will travel in each train.
He said that former general secretary of BJP state unit Siddharaju has been appointed as the coordinator. The BJP leader urged the state government to declare January 22 as a holiday on the consecration day of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
