Bus and diesel tanker collide, several passengers injured

Raigarh. A passenger bus and a diesel tanker collided in Lailunga area of the district. Many passengers on the bus were injured. Those who have been admitted to the hospital. Here, after the accident, a crowd of people gathered on the spot to loot the diesel. The case pertains to Rudukela village of Lailunga police station area.

According to information, the incident took place around 8 am on Sunday morning near Welcome Pulia Lailunga-Kotba main road in Rudukela village. After the collision, there was hue and cry on the spot. A crowd of people gathered at the spot. Passers-by helped people get out of the bus and the police were also informed. Police reached the spot and sent the injured to Lailunga Hospital by 108 Sanjeevani Express. Police said that many passengers have been injured in the accident, although there is no news of loss of life so far. Here after the accident, hundreds of people from the surrounding reached to loot the diesel due to the explosion of the diesel tanker. There was also a clash between them. Traffic was disrupted due to the accident on the middle of the road and the crowd gathered to loot the diesel. At present, the police have removed the crowd from the spot and both the accident vehicles have also been removed from the road.
