Car filled with candidates collides with dumper, one dead, nine injured
Jalaun. A tragic road accident took place in Jalaun late night, where an Artika car filled with candidates returning from Jhansi after giving the police recruitment examination collided with a dumper, due to which one candidate died and 9 candidates were seriously injured. There was a lot of commotion after this incident. As soon as information about the incident was received, the local police reached the spot and admitted all the injured to Kuthund Primary Health Center, where doctors declared one dead. Seeing the critical condition of three, they were referred to Orai Higher Center after first aid.
The incident took place near Harsinghpur village located on Jalaun-Auraiya State Highway of Kuthound police station area. Manoj (22 years), son of Ram Vilas, resident of Sarsai village of Kannauj district, along with his other 9 friends had gone to Jhansi district on February 17 in car Artica UP 78 FQ 9945 to appear for the police officer examination. Coming back to Kannauj in the evening via Jalaun-Auraiya State Highway. As soon as they reached near Harsinghpur village of Kuthound police station area, the car collided with a dumper coming from the front, due to which all the people in the car died. Other people including the candidate were seriously injured. There were protests after this incident. As soon as the Kuthund police station got information about this incident at 3 pm, they admitted all the injured to Kuthund Primary Health Center with the help of an ambulance, where after examination by the doctors, one candidate, Manoj, died. Treatment of others was started, seeing that the condition of 3 was critical, they were referred to Orai Higher Center after first aid. He informed the family members of the deceased about this incident.
