Case of messaging a married woman: To trap the woman’s husband, her friend had killed the young man
Mysuru (IANS). There has been a new twist in the murder of a Karnataka youth for allegedly texting a married woman. Police investigation revealed that a friend of the woman’s husband had carried out the murder. Police gave this information on Saturday.
Police said the friend had enmity with the woman’s husband and wanted to send him to jail in the case.
Police disclosed the matter and arrested Dinesh and his friend Bhima.
Dinesh is the woman’s husband N. Wanted to take revenge from Prakash.
Prakash was a friend of the accused and had never made his intentions known before.
HD Bhanu Prakash alias Siddu, 24, a resident of Neralehundi in Kote, was murdered last Thursday.
His body was found on the banks of Kabini river in Sargur police station limits.
Bhanu Prakash had allegedly tried to woo the married woman. He used to send her text messages and also call her. Recently there was a dispute between the woman and the family of the deceased regarding this issue.
Bhanu was later found dead with stab wounds on his neck, waist and abdomen. The family and the police naturally suspected the role of the victim’s husband behind the murder.
However, in the initial investigation of the police, no connection could be established in this regard.
Following the complaint of the deceased’s family, the police had detained six people in the case.
Ultimately on the basis of call analysis they suspected the role of accused Dinesh.
When interrogated, Dinesh confessed to the murder. He told the police that he thought his role in the case would never be doubted and that the woman’s husband Prakash would be arrested and sent to jail.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, the accused along with his friend Bhima murdered Bhanu Prakash by slitting his throat. He had thrown the weapon used for this murder in the canal. The investigation is on.
