Chennai-Tirunelveli special trains for 3 days

Tamil Nadu: Southern Railway has announced that special trains will run between Chennai and Tirunelveli on the 16th, 23rd, and 30th.
A press release issued by Southern Railway stated: “Special trains are being run to avoid the summer rush. Accordingly, the special train (number 06070) that will depart Tirunelveli at 11:40 pm on the 16th, 23rd, and 30th will arrive at Egmore station at 10:45 am on the 17th, 24th, and 1st of May.
In the reverse direction, the special train (number 06069) will depart Egmore at 1:35 pm on April 17th, 24th, and 1st of May and will arrive at Tirunelveli at 1 am the next day on April 18th, 25th, and 2nd of May.
Special train to Tambaram: The special train (No. 06166) will depart Tirunelveli at 11:35 pm on the 12th, 19th, and 26th and arrive in Tambaram at 11:35 am on the 13th, 20th, and 27th. In the reverse direction, the special train (No. 06165) will depart Tambaram at 1:55 pm on the 13th, 20th, and 27th and arrive in Tirunelveli at 2 am on the 14th, 21st, and 28th.
Coach and station information: The special trains will consist of 1 AC double-decker coach, 6 AC triple-decker coaches, 2 AC economy coaches, 1 second-class Divyanchan coach, and a goods van.
It is reported that it will stop at the following stations: Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Kodaikanal Junction, Dindigul, Tiruchirapalli, Srirangam, Ariyalur, Virudhachalam, Villupuram, Melmaruvathur, Chengalpattu and Tambaram.
