Chhattisgarh elections: If the contest is not 50-50 then it is not even 19-20.

Congress is playing aggressive while BJP is playing defensive, Congress released arrows of announcements, BJP is preparing to counter. Raipur. The hustle and bustle of assembly elections in Chhattisgarh is gradually gaining momentum. On one hand, while the parties are intensifying the election campaign for the first phase of voting, on the other hand, after the announcement of all the candidates of both the major parties for the second phase, the nomination process has also intensified with the campaign intensifying.

For the first phase, voting will be held on 20 assembly seats on November 7. After completion of the nomination process on these seats, 223 candidates are in the fray. This time there will be competition:

Looking at the election situation so far, it seems that this time the results will be different from the previous elections. Although Congress seems to have an upper hand over BJP due to its aggressive strategy, there is no walkover situation for Congress like in the last elections. Even though the BJP is moving slowly and hesitantly, it has brought itself into competition. Before the announcement of the election dates, Congress seemed to be easily returning to the government, but after the start of the election process and the announcement of the candidates, the contest has started becoming interesting. Although the Congress spokesperson is continuously dominating and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel himself is trying to instill confidence in the Congress among the voters by making new announcements, the BJP is still not opening any cards in this matter and has made big promises to the people in the resolution letter. Talking about announcement of gifts. At the same time, their spokespersons are not appearing aggressive in cornering the Congress government. Although this can also be a part of the strategy. Despite this, due to new faces and the work of the Centre, BJP has started appearing in a position to compete with Congress.

In the coming days, when the election campaign will intensify and election meetings of star campaigners of political parties will be organised, the competition will become more tough. 90 candidates of BJP-Congress have been decided on 47 seats, new ones in front of veterans: With the announcement of BJP’s remaining four seats for the assembly elections, candidates of Congress and BJP have been decided on all 90 seats. Uncle-nephew contest in Patan: Tough contest is expected in high profile seats Patan, Sakti, Raipur South and Bilha. Actually, old faces from both sides have been fielded on these seats. There is competition between uncle and nephew in Patan. Here Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel from Congress and Vijay Baghel, convenor of BJP manifesto committee, are face to face. Dr. Khilavan Sahu is in front of Dr. Charandas Mahant in Sakti. Similarly, in Raipur South, former minister Brijmohan Agarwal is facing Mahant Ramsundar Das of Congress. Whereas in Bilha there is a contest between traditional rivals Dharamlal Kaushik of BJP and Siyaram Kaushik of Congress. Four new faces in BJP’s final list. BJP has declared candidates for the remaining four seats: Bemetara, Ambikapur, Kasdol and Beltara. BJP has placed bets on new faces on these four seats.

The party has nominated Sushant Shukla as Brahmin candidate from Beltara, Rajesh Aggarwal from Ambikapur, Deepesh Sahu from the controversial Bemetara seat and Dhaniram Dhiwar from Kasdol. Both parties conducted experiments. Both Congress and BJP parties have conducted big experiments for the assembly elections.
