CM Yadav flagged off trucks loaded with five lakh laddus and left for Ayodhya

Bhopal: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav flagged off trucks loaded with five lakh laddus as prasad for the auspicious occasion of consecration in Ayodhya on January 22.

Last week, Yadav had announced to send five lakh laddus from Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain to Ayodhya. After the CM’s announcement, the Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee prepared laddus for Prasad.

Trucks filled with laddus reached Manas Bhawan in Bhopal early on Friday and then CM Yadav flagged them off during the day and sent them to Ayodhya. Laddus are made from gram flour, rava, ghee and dry fruits.

On this occasion, CM Yadav said, “The foundation of the city of Ayodhya, as we see it today, was laid about 2,000 years ago during the reign of Emperor Vikramaditya.” He claimed that the original temple was built by Emperor Vikramaditya.

“We are happy that those glorious days are being restored. Lord Ram is returning to his birthplace and will be seated in the ‘Garbhagriha’ of the temple,” Yadav said while flagging off the trucks.

He also said, “Baba Mahakal is sending five lakh laddus from here as a symbol of his love.” Today, after showing the saffron flag, we flagged off these Prasad chariots filled with laddus for Ayodhya.”
