
Tamil Nadu: Political activity will be intense in Chennai and Tamil Nadu today. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in a road show in support of BJP candidate Tamilisai Soundararajan in Chennai’s Mylapore Assembly constituency on April 19th. This event will seek public support for the party candidate.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will also be actively campaigning on the same day. He will hold a road show from the Thousand Lights area of Thyagaraya Nagar to Anna Arivalayam, garnering support for DMK candidates. He will then participate in another road show in Chennai.
Amit Shah has another scheduled event in Erode district, where he will hold a road rally in support of BJP candidate S. Krithika from Modakkurichi. According to his itinerary, he will land by helicopter at the Thamaraipalayam Matriculation Higher Secondary School grounds near Sivagiri at 9:30 am. From there, he will travel to Sivagiri by car and later begin the road parade.
The road parade will begin near the Sivagiri Government Hospital and continue to the old bus stand area, covering a distance of approximately 850 meters. Amit Shah will return to Chennai after the event.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will also campaign in support of party candidates in the Hosur and Bargur assembly constituencies of Krishnagiri district.
These events today have further intensified the election atmosphere among the major political parties in Tamil Nadu.
