Congress leader left the party after writing a letter to Deepak Baij
Bhilai. Before the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections, the party is getting one blow after another. Former Chairman Rajendra Arora has also resigned from the primary membership of Congress by writing a letter to State Congress Committee President Deepak Baij.
He has shocked Congress before the elections. He won the councilor elections thrice from the ward of Vaishali Nagar Assembly constituency and also completed one term as the Chairman. In the letter, he has said that he is making it clear with a very distressed heart that he has served the public for 40 years following the customs and policies of the Indian National Congress.
Whatever the responsible people of Congress have done in the last 5 years is extremely painful. In such circumstances, remaining in Congress is tantamount to hurting one’s self-respect. He told that in 1983-84, Nehru joined Congress during a program at Sanskriti Sadan Sector-1. In the presence of the then General Secretary Rajiv Gandhi, the then Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Arjun Singh honored him as the best worker.
