Hajipur: A big news has come out from Hajipur, Bihar. Here, the accused in the country’s biggest gold robbery case was shot dead by miscreants on Sunday night. Where the deceased has been identified as Yusuf Qaiser alias Rajhani. In the night, four unknown miscreants riding on two bikes came and shot Rajhani with bullets. The horrifying picture of the firing was captured in the CCTV camera installed at the spot. The police is busy investigating the case on the basis of the footage.
The entire incident took place near RN College of Nagar police station area of Hajipur. Four miscreants riding on two bikes arrived with weapons and started firing indiscriminately while getting down from the car. Deceased Rajhani had come out of jail five months ago. In 2019, more than 22 kg of gold was looted from Muthoot Finance in Hajipur. The price was estimated to be around Rs 55 crore. Rajhani’s name was also named as an accused in this gold robbery case.
Based on the CCTV cameras installed at the spot, the incident occurred at 9:57. It is clearly visible in the picture that four miscreants arrive on two bikes and start firing at Rajhani standing on the road. He runs to save his life but the miscreants run and chase him. After this, Rajhani was shot six times in the back. After shooting, the miscreants fled away easily. Here, after the incident, a friend of the deceased Rajhani took him to Hajipur Sadar Hospital. Here the doctor declared him dead. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. Took stock of the incident site. The family members have been interrogated.
Issuing a statement, Sadar SDPO Om Prakash said that Rajhani was shot by four unknown bike-riding miscreants near Pokhri of RN College in the Nagar police station area. Rajhani has a criminal history. He was an accused in the gold robbery case that took place from Muthoot Finance in 2019. Police say that he was hit by four to five bullets in his back. The situation is now normal after the incident. CCTV has also come to light. Action is being taken on that basis.
