Critical patient gets stuck after ambulance door did not open for hours in Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A critical patient gets struck in an ambulance after the door did not open for hours near Jhumpura Community health centre (CHC) in Keonjhar last night.

According to reports, one Champabati Mahanta of Kathabaunsuli area under Sadar police limits, health condition suddenly deteriorated and the family members called for 108 ambulance to shift him immediately to the hospital.

The ambulance reached and shifted Champabati to Jhumpura Community Health Centre (CHC) for treatment via ambulance. When they reached the hospital, the ambulance door did not open for hours. Even after many attempts, the door did not open, so they kicked open the door and took her out.

As her health condition was serious, she was immediately shifted to Keonjhar District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for treatment.
