Development plan ready for Kullu and Lahaul
Kullu. A fresh TCP development plan has been made for the tourist destinations Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti. In the future, on this basis, now all types of development works will be done under uniform rules, which earlier used to have different parameters for different cities and towns, but now TPC has made uniform parameters for Kullu division. Under this, now all types of work done under the ambit of TPC will be done under the same parameter.
Town and Country Planning Division Kullu has prepared a development plan till the year 2041, in which now work will be done in the cities and towns falling under the ambit of TCP from Bhuntar to Manali and Lahaul region under the same parameters. At the same time, Kullu Bypass fourlane area has also been included in TCP. Under the new plan, whether it is water supply and drainage, sewerage or building construction.
Town and Country Planning Division has made a development plan in Kullu till the year 2041. Town and Country Planning Officer Rashik Sharma said that keeping every aspect in mind, a development plan has been made to work till 2041. Kullu division also includes the area of Lahaul, which includes urban towns from Bhuntar to Manali, Rohtang and Lahaul valley. Where now other commercial activities including tourism take place. Such areas will also be included in the scope of TPC.
A plan has been made keeping in mind the geographical conditions including disaster and earthquake, in which all kinds of building construction and other works will be carried out keeping in mind the scope of the Forest Department and the Beas River. Kullu Bypass Fourlane area was earlier not included in the scope of TCP, but recently a notification has been issued to include this area also in TCP. Due to this, now this area has also come under the purview of TCP. Now in this area too, other works related to building construction will be done only with TCP and NOC of the concerned authority.
