Flower Show 2024: Flower show will open on 30 December
Ahmedabad: Flower show will be organized by the Municipal Corporation from 30 December 2023 to 15 January 2024. It will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. It will cost Rs 50 for entry for persons above 12 years of age from Monday to Friday and Rs 75 for entry for persons above 12 years of age on Saturday and Sunday.
Children coming for school visit will be given free entry. Tickets can be purchased online: Keeping in mind the wear and tear of tickets, ticketing facility has been installed at all CT Civic Centres. So that visitors can easily buy tickets near home and can also get tickets online.
Double Size Sculptures: Sculptures double the size of those displayed in previous flower shows such as Kenwoo Parliament House, Toran of Vadnagar, Vikram Lander (Chandrayaan-3), Statue of Unity, Sun Temple of Modhera, Women Empowerment and Cartoon Characters for Children. etc. will be displayed. A 400 meter long flower structure is being built for the Flower Show 2024.
Flower Show Highlights: The Flower Show 2024 will showcase various varieties like Petunia, Dianthus, Chrysanthemum (Sevanti), Vimaka, Gagenia, Begonia, Antirrhenium, Aster, Invasion. A full-fledged plant display of varieties of marigold, calendula, coleus, tornia, verbena, salvia, ornamental kale, succulent and cactus plants, pinsentia, orchid, gerbera, dahlia, lilium, anginarium, amaranth lily etc. will be offered. A food court for refreshments will be set up in the flower garden as well as private nurseries for selling full-grown plant seedlings, pesticides, medicinal seeds, fertilizers and garden tools and stalls for selling other items.
