Hapur: In Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, police and cyber cell team have arrested four vicious cyber thugs including a girl. 2 laptops, check books, 17 mobiles, 32 credit cards and cash worth thousands of rupees have been recovered from the thugs. Police say that till now hundreds of people have lost lakhs of rupees after getting trapped in the trap of these thugs. These people used to cheat in the name of providing loans at cheap rates.
According to the information, the accused arrested by Hapur police are vicious thugs, who cheat people by misleading them. Cyber Cell and Hapur Police started investigation after receiving the complaint about the matter. After this, the police arrested the accused from 55 Foota Jain Road located in Mohan Garden Dwarka, Delhi.
In these, the girl from Mathura along with her three associates have been arrested. Police have recovered 17 mobile phones, 32 ATM cards of different banks, two laptops, Rs 8700 in cash, 10 check books and receipts from the possession of all four. These people used to campaign for fraud in the entire country. He also used to take help of online. The callers used to extort money in the name of loan by luring innocent people through advertisements. Information about transactions worth Rs 24 lakh has been found in their accounts.
Hapur SP Abhishek Verma said that the police has exposed a gang involved in fraud in the name of giving loans at cheap interest rates under TATA CAPITAL Mudra Yojana. Four thugs including a girl have been caught. These people also used to advertise on social media for giving loans by putting fake mobile numbers. They have defrauded lakhs of rupees by doing such incidents with thousands of people in different states.
