Gang rape accused arrested, committed brutality with friend in waterfall

Jashpur: Saddam Khan Kusmi Wala, the main accused in the gang rape incident with the victim of Balrampur district in Dangri Waterfall, has been arrested. According to the information, the accused was hiding in Begusarai, Bihar. From where the police team is taking him to the garden.

Actually, the incident took place at Danagari Waterfall under Pandara Path police post. Where on September 4, the victim had come for a motorcycle ride with two youths she knew from Shankargarh area of neighboring Balrampur district. During this time, some youth known to them carried out the incident of gangrape with the victim girl. On the basis of the statement of the victim, a crime of 376 D was registered against both the accused and they started searching for them.

Here, the tribal community got angry with this incident and started calling the accused as Congress party workers and accusing them of saving them under the protection of the government. Regarding this matter, BJP members also surrounded the residence of Jashpur MLA Vinay Bhagat two days ago. BJP IT Cell had shared a picture of rape accused Saddam Khan and Vinay Bhagat together on social media. The accused had switched off their mobile phones after the incident, due to which the police had to struggle a lot to reach the accused. According to the information, the second accused Imtiaz is also not far from the grip of the police.
