Girl student hit by bus, condition critical

Rajnandgaon: A schoolgirl became victim of an accident due to bad road in Arjuni of the district. The student fell down after her bicycle fell into a pit, during which a bus coming from behind hit her. The seriously injured student has been referred to Raipur for better treatment. The matter is of Dongargaon police station area.

According to the information, Kiran Sonkar, a student living in village Barsantola, was returning home after school was closed on Saturday. Then his bicycle wheel came into the pothole on the road. Due to this, Kiran fell on the road along with the bicycle. Meanwhile, the Neeraj Public School bus coming from behind hit the student.

After the accident a crowd gathered at the spot. On receiving information from the people, police reached the spot and the injured student was taken to Arjuni Health Center. Seeing his serious condition here, he was referred to Raipur after first aid. Here, angry people blocked the spot. Due to this many vehicles got stuck in the jam.
