Gold worth Rs 15 lakh and cash robbed in Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: Miscreants broke into a house and robbed gold jewellery worth Rs 15 lakh and Rs 40,000 cash from the house of one Sanjeev Kumar Behera who had gone to see Kali puja fair of Podasula village of Nilagiri block in Balasore district on Monday night.

According to the information, Behera along with his wife and son had gone to the Kali puja fair on Monday. When they returned from the fair to their displeasure they saw that their lock was broken. Gold and other valuables were missing from the almirah.

This incident has created a fear amongst the residents as the miscreants are taking advantage of the festivities to rob houses.
