Home guard raped a woman, case registered

Jalaun. A shameful incident has come to light in Jalaun late evening. A home guard living in a colony of the city called a teenage girl who had come to buy goods to his house. When she reached home, she dragged the girl into her room and raped her. When people from the neighborhood heard the girl’s screaming, they reached the spot. Where the home guard had fled from the spot leaving the girl in a delirious state. When the family members came to know about the incident, they were shocked. The family reached the police station with the victim and filed a complaint against the accused. The police have registered the case and started searching for the accused. Who ordered some items from a 13-year-old girl living in the neighborhood on Sunday evening. When the girl reached her house with the luggage, finding her alone, the home guard caught her, forced herself and raped her. When the girl raised an alarm, the home guard ran away from the spot after hearing the sound of people coming from the neighbourhood. The victim went home and told her family about this incident. Hearing this, the family members were shocked. The girl’s mother reached Orai police station with the girl and lodged a complaint against the home guard. Inspector Jitendra Kumar Singh, in-charge of Orai Kotwali, registered a case against the home guard under rape and POCSO Act and sent the girl for medical examination. In this case, Orai Kotwali police say that the victim has been sent for medical examination and a case has been registered against the accused home guard Jagjivan Ram Ahirwar. Also, efforts to arrest him have been intensified.
