Hyderabad: ACB caught Telangana official taking bribe of Rs 45 thousand
Hyderabad: Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught Assistant Director of District Industries Centre, Integrated Collectorate Office when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 45,000 from a person for getting government work done. The officer K Venkat Narsi Reddy demanded the bribe amount from Kethavath Ramesh for inspecting a tipper vehicle purchased for Rs 53 lakh under the TSPRIDE scheme extended to the Dalit community.
On a complaint, the ACB laid a trap and caught Narsi Reddy while he was accepting the bribe amount. A case has been registered against him and he was produced before Additional Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases, Nampally.
