Hyderabad: CTRI Director Dr. Maganti Sheshu Madhav receives prestigious award

Hyderabad: Dr. Maganti Seshu Madhav, Director, ICAR-Central Tobacco Research Institute has been conferred with the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences Fellow Award for his outstanding research contributions to agricultural sciences, particularly improvement of cultivars for sustainable production of rice and tobacco. Dr. Madhav was presented the award by Dr. Himanshu Pathak, Director General, ICAR and President, NAAS on the eve of the Foundation Day of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Dr. Madhav, a resident of Warangal, is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from Ohio State University. He was associated with research and management of agricultural sciences for the last three decades and made significant contributions in the field of rice and tobacco.
