Hyderabad: Gold worth Rs 3 crore seized at airport
Hyderabad: Customs officials at RGI Airport, Shamshabad, caught four passengers, including three women, who had come from Dubai and were smuggling gold. The officials seized about 4.5 kg of gold worth Rs 3 crore from them. In the first case officials caught two female passengers who had hidden 16 gold bars weighing 1.865 kg, worth Rs. 1.18 crores. In another case, officials seized 1.100 kg gold chain worth Rs 69.85 lakh from a man, while in another case officials seized 1.632 kg gold from a female passenger who had hidden it in her inner clothes. The gold has been seized and investigation is underway.
