Hyderabad: Man arrested for attacking and impregnating minor girl

Hyderabad: A 25-year-old man allegedly raped and impregnated a minor girl in Meerpet. Police suspect that the victim was lured by the suspect on the pretext of marriage and sexually exploited her multiple times. On Friday, police arrested the suspect, Rakesh Kumar (25), who runs a paan shop in the same locality. According to police, the 14-year-old victim from Bihar, who lives in the same locality with her parents, was lured by Rakesh in the name of love.

According to police, Rakesh sexually exploited her multiple times by promising to marry her when she was alone at home and her parents had gone to work. Recently, the victim’s mother noticed that the little girl was falling sick frequently and took her to a hospital, where doctors confirmed that she was pregnant. “The girl then revealed what had happened. He used to sexually exploit her at home. It is suspected that he raped her multiple times,” police said. A case has been registered and investigations are underway. The girl was sent to the hospital for medical examination.
