Hyderabad: Hyderabad Central Crime Station police have arrested a man named Pullaiya for allegedly duping depositors of crores in the name of chit fund business. Pullaiya is absconding since a case was registered against him. Originally from Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh, the man was living in Hyderabad for some time and doing illegal business.
According to the information available, Pullaiya was arrested in Bengaluru and taken to Hyderabad, where he will be produced in court and sent to judicial custody. Pullaiya collected huge amounts from people in SR Nagar and Madhura Nagar in the name of chit finance business and absconded with the money. The victims have lodged a complaint against Pullaiya at the CCS police station. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
