Hyderabad: Man arrested for harassing TV artist
Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police arrested a man for allegedly harassing and threatening a TV junior artiste here late on Thursday night. The actress, who hails from West Godavari in Andhra Pradesh, had started living in Krishna Nagar and was working in television serials. According to the police, the suspect, Funny Teja (32), a resident of Krishna Nagar and working in the film industry, befriended the actress during a shooting and the two continued their friendship.
Subsequently, Funny Teja proposed love to her and the woman rejected him. Angered by this, he started harassing her by sending abusive messages and videos. He also threatened to share her morphed pictures on social media if she stayed away from him. Based on her complaint, the Jubilee Hills police registered a case and arrested Funny Teja. He was produced in court and sent to judicial custody.
