Hyderabad: Man arrested for molesting a minor girl

Hyderabad: Jeedimetla police on Wednesday arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly misbehaving with a minor girl.

An 11-year-old girl was playing outside her house when a man, a native of Gujarat, took the girl to his house on the pretext of giving her chocolate and raped her. The girl raised an alarm and ran away from the suspect’s house and informed her parents.

On a complaint, the police registered a case under the provision of POCSO Act and arrested the suspect. He was taken on remand.
