IIT Goa youth interacted with Governor Harichandan at Raj Bhavan

Raipur. IIT with Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan at Raj Bhavan today. Students from Goa interacted. These students are on a five-day stay in Chhattisgarh under the “Yuva Sangam” program of the “Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat” campaign of the Government of India. This unique program has been implemented all over India on the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In which the youth of all the states go to other states and understand their culture, taste the food and visit tourist places. In this series, young students studying in various colleges of Goa are being taken on a tour of Chhattisgarh. These students reached Raj Bhavan on the second day of the tour.
Addressing the students, Governor Shri Harichandan said that India’s strength is its feeling of unity in diversity. Unity in diversity is an example of our country in the world. Despite diverse culture and traditions, we are one and will remain one. With this line of thought, India is moving towards becoming a world leader.

Governor Shri Harichandan said that under the visionary framework of Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat programme, the Yuva Sangam program is an opportunity to deeply understand and be proud of the diverse aspects of our nation. During the visit to Chhattisgarh, students will get an opportunity to know and learn from various aspects of the prosperity, culture, progress and heritage of this place.

The Governor said that during Covid-19, in this country with a huge population, the situation which is being faced under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The world was astonished by the way work was done to manage Covid. Our frontline workers played an important role in keeping our 140 crore population safe in our fight against Covid.

The youth also became front line workers and actively participated in the campaign to stop Covid and make the society aware about it. He asked the students to do such work which makes the country proud and the objective of “Ek Bharat, Great India” can be fulfilled. After completing their studies, he appealed to the students to serve the deprived sections of the society.

On this occasion I.I.T. Bhilai Director Rajeev Prakash gave detailed information about the Yuva Sangam programme. He told that 45 students from various colleges including NIT, Goa came to know about the tradition and culture of Chhattisgarh, its progress and technology, to get acquainted with the people of Chhattisgarh through mutual contact and to visit tourist places. Is.

In the programme, there was an ideological exchange between the students of Goa and Governor Harichandan. Kumari Riddhi Bhatt asked a question on the status of youth amidst the development and culture of India, which was appropriately answered by Shri Harichandan. Shri Uddhav Awasthi, working for Chief Minister Fellowship Goa, asked the question on how we can move forward by combining technology and tradition.

Harichandan said that technology and tradition are different subjects but by adding tradition to technology, it can be taken forward. Gunaditya Patil thanked the Government of India for the Yuva Sangam program due to which he got the opportunity to visit Chhattisgarh. In the program the students also presented a memento to the Governor. On this occasion, Secretary to the Governor Amrit Khalkho, Deputy Secretary Deepak Aggarwal, I.I.T. Professors from Bhilai and young students from Goa state were present.
