Tamil Nadu: Egg prices rise to ₹4.35.

Tamil Nadu: In the Namakkal zone, egg prices remain steady at ₹4.35.
The Namakkal Zonal Consultative Meeting of the National Egg Coordination Committee was held on Thursday. During the meeting, farmers were consulted regarding their views on the decision concerning egg prices. Since there has been no change in egg prices in other zones, it was determined that no changes should be made here either. Consequently, the National Egg Coordination Committee announced the farm procurement price for eggs at ₹4.35, maintaining the status quo. In a separate meeting of the National Coordination Committee held in Palladam, the price for broiler chickens was fixed at ₹133 per kilogram, and the price for layer hens (egg-laying chickens) was set at ₹72 per kilogram.
