Karimnagar News: Traffic restrictions in Karimnagar on June 4
Karimnagar: Karimnagar Commissionerate Police has imposed restrictions on vehicular movement in Karimnagar town in view of the counting of Lok Sabha election votes scheduled on Tuesday.The police have diverted traffic on Jagtial Road to conduct the counting process in a peaceful manner without leaving any scope for any untoward incident as the counting will take place at SRR Government Degree College.Old Karimnagar to celebrate decennial year of Telangana formation in a grand manner
Police Commissioner Abhishek Mohanty said in a statement on Sunday that vehicles will not be allowed on Jagtial Road passing through SRR College from 6 am till the counting is completed. Vehicles coming from Jagtial to Karimnagar will be diverted via Rekurthi square, Satavahana University, Padmanagar and Karimnagar.Meanwhile, vehicles going from Karimnagar to Jagtial will be diverted via Court Complex, Jyothinagar, Chemist Bhavan, Satavahana University and Rekurthi square.The CP advised motorists coming from Bank Colony’s D Mart Road to enter the city via Bank Colony Road No. 1 and Spencer Road. The area from Spencer to RTC Workshop and D Mart Road has been declared a barren area. The CP informed that no vehicular movement will be allowed in this area.
